The Speedstar 3000 is a revolutionary new concept in colour label printing. At the heart of the Speedstar 3000 lies a specially developed inkjet print engine designed by Memjet. Unlike other inkjet technologies the Memjet print engine utilises a static print head which covers the entire width of the print web. This print head remains stationary as the media is fed below it at high speed (up to 12 inches / 300mm per second!). This results in incredible throughput speeds at impressive print resolutions up to 1600dpi.The

Speedstar 3000 can be used with most Windows software through its Windows printer driver. It includes a large touch-screen display for adjusting print settings and can even be used stand-alone so long as regular editing of label designs is not required.The Speedstar 3000 also comes with an industrial grade media roll unwinder and a rewinder is available as an optional extra for roll-to-roll printing. This allows you to use large rolls of label media to avoid having to change rolls too often.

The Speedstar 3000 is further complemented by the use of large 250ml ink tanks which are great value for money. This means that unlike so many other inkjet label printers the Speedstar 3000 isn't expensive to run with cost per label matching the likes of traditional thermal transfer printers.
